TV/Character toys & related items
TV has shaped entire generations and insured the universality of some characters. A true testament to the effects of pop culture, many individuals recognize and can name many TV, movie, or cartoon figures without actually knowing anything about them. All that aside...they are just plain FUN! Click on the images for enlarged /alternate views.

click to enlarge   item: Thunderbirds vinyl figure set, Popy, 1970's.
description: Whether you are into T-birds toys or japanese vinyls, this is a great and scarce set in the USA. Super box graphics, 2 members of the Tracy clan, and 2 vehicles... Thunderbirds are GO!

condition: C-9 figures (some box wear), C-7 box.

click to enlarge item: Uncle Fester's Mystery Light Bulb, Poynter Products, 1967.
description: One of the best boxed TV toys that I have seen in a while. Uncle Fester's "light bulb trick" while pointless, never fails to crack me up. I actually had one of these when I was a kid...you can have a wonderful and highly displayable example now. Comes complete with instructions, but ( AA) battery is not present.

size: toy 4.5" l, box 5.5" h, 7.5" w, 2.5"d.
condition: C-9 toy, C-8 box has minor wear, splitting.
price: sold
click to enlarge   item: Voltron lunch box; Aladdin Industries, 1984.
description: Voltron, Defender of the Universe (GoLion in Japan) spawned a bumper crop of licensed items in the USA. Predictably, Aladdin issued a lunch box for kids...ironically, most of these would end up in collections and here's your chance. GREAT, unused condition with a little wear from storage.

size: 8.5" h (at highest), 8" l, 4.25" d.
condition: Unused but C-9 with light wear, original hang tag.
price: sold
click to enlarge   item:Lost in Space Robot; Ahi, 1977.
description: The somewhat inelegant and chunky 1977 revival of the LIS Robot is, nevertheless, quite desirable to the collector. An all plastic piece with surprisingly good walking action, he stops and "rat-tat-tat's" and his dome & chest light up too! Clean example with some play wear and an intact (but beat) box.

size:10" h, 5" w, 6" d
condition:C-8 +, C-6 box
price: sold

click to enlarge item:Ultraman sticker packs; Japan, 1980's (?).
description: Another example of "Gaijin" ignorance...wish I could read the manufacturer's name. BUT...aren't these cool? Each package contains 2 photo stickers with predominantly "Kaiju" (monster) characters from the TV show.

size:3.5" h, 2.75" w
condition:C-8 +
price:$15.95 for 3 packs
click to enlarge   item:Voltron Black Lion; Panosh Place, 1984.
description: This all plastic toy was geared towards the younger Voltron fans. A "secret" chest compartment opens to house the Keith figure (not included), offering something that the Matchbox diecast version was lacking...play value. Get this MIB example for your collection...has never been opened.

size: Box 10" h, 8.5" w, 4.5" d
condition: MIB, Box C - 8 +
price:sold

click to enlarge item: Godzilla Game, Mattel, 1977.
description: What a great game! Godzilla pops out and scares the crap out of you, then grabs your ship! FUN! Seriously, this example is in great condition...looks like somebody "played at" playing, then put it away...most ships are still on the sprues. A nice, displayable example complete with all parts, instructions, etc. Box has slight moisture damage but no discoloration.

size: Box 9.5" h, 15" w, 4" d
condition:toy C - 9, Box C - 7 +
price:$55.00
