Miscellaneous toys & related items
I just could not decide what to do with some of this stuff! But don't we need a special place for all those interesting things that just don't seem to fit in anyplace else? Here are some fun items that I thought you'd like. Click on the images for enlarged /alternate views.

click to enlarge   item: Suckerman; Mattel, 1979

click to enlarge item: S.T.A.R. Team Zem-21; Ideal, 1977
description: Ideal's attempt to capitalize on the success of Star Wars yielded this companion to "Zeroid"...the final re-hash of their once successful robot toy line. The toy appears never to have been removed from the card but does have a few small scratches, presumably factory wear. This is a superb, near-mint example in a beautiful box.

click to enlarge   item: Sinclair "Dino" inflatable #840; unknown, 1960's (?)

size: overall 13" h, 5" w, 12" d; no holes or repairs
condition: C-9 with slight soiling
price: $19.95

click to enlarge item: Acrobats Activity Toy; Colorforms, 1967
description: Colorforms actually designed and produced some very interesting toys in the 1950's and 1960's. A prime example of their innovative and thoroughly "modern" approach to toys is this Acrobats activity set, a thoughtfully simple and very gratifying creative toy...obviously designed to make kids think. Too bad today's toymakers don't produce items like this!

size: acrobats 4.5" h; canister 6.5" h, 5" diameter
